    Dr. Alberto Talamo joined Argonne as a Post-Doctoral Appointee for NE's Applied Physics & Nuclear Data Section. Alberto received his Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from Royal Institute of Technology (Stockholm) and his B.S. in Nuclear Engineering from Politecnico di Torino (Italy). While at Argonne, he has been involved in two major projects: the medical isotope production using the Kharkov electron driven subcritical assembly facility of Ukraine and the analyses of the YALINA Booster subcritical assembly conversion of Belarus. Alberto’s past experiences include a Visiting Scientist appointment at General Atomics, Lieutenant of the Army Engineers Staff, and student tutor. His expertise includes fuel cycle analyses, radioactive waste transmutation, nuclear data libraries, critical and subcritical reactor physics analyses, and Linux cluster administration for neutronics analyses.
