2008 ANS National Student Conference @ Texas A&M University:
"Global Nuclear Energy Partnership and the Role of Fast Reactors" Workshop

1-5PM, Thursday, February 28th, 2008.

Argonne National Laboratory has performed cutting-edge fast reactor research for over 50 years and continues that tradition today with numerous programs, including work advancing the Global Nuclear Energy Partnership. Our expertise covers all phases of fast reactor research, and we shared that expertise with the participants in this workshop.
This workshop consisted of series of focused-topic sessions featuring lectures and discussions led by prominent Argonne fast reactor researchers, providing workshop participants an opportunity to develop a basic understanding of fast reactors and their role in the nuclear power industry in the 21st century. The workshop material is appropriate for both undergraduate and graduate students. Questions and discussion are welcomed and encouraged.
